Yes. Every new install gets 7 days of unlimited dictation — no account, no card. After that you keep 2,000 dictated words every week, free forever.
What happens when I run out of free words?
Dictation pauses until your weekly words refresh — you get 2,000 more every 7 days — or you go Pro for unlimited. Everything you’ve already dictated stays yours; nothing is deleted.
Do my recordings or transcripts leave my computer?
Never. Speech recognition runs entirely on your machine. Your account exists only to know whether a subscription is active — we don’t see what you dictate, and we don’t want to.
How do I cancel?
From your account → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; your free 2,000 words a week stay yours.
